About Sudbury Aviation

scotia-cabinFly-in fishing costs are a product of distance, not the quality of the fishing! Our camps are 30 to 40 minutes flying time north of Sudbury! Estimate the total cost of your fly-in fishing vacation. After judging the fishing potential of a fly-in camp, compare driving costs, driving times then fly-in rates! You will see the difference between our Northern Ontario fly-in camps and camps further away.

We can make your fishing vacation dreams come true. Our fishing today is better than it ever was due to our fishery management policies in place for over twenty years. Our fly-in camps are comfortable, well equipped and have been carefully updated and maintained.

We operate 14 fly in self-catering camps located in some of the finest, private, remote fishing areas in Northern Ontario! Camps are well constructed, clean, comfortable, and secluded. They are located on beautiful scenic lakes, with boats, motors. Canoes and Kayaks are available at some locations or upon request. Enjoy walleye, northern pike, lake trout, speckled trout, small mouth bass, wildlife viewing photography, canoeing, hiking, it is all there for you!

speckled-troutSudbury Aviation has been operating from our present float plane base for 63 years . During that time we have safely delivered thousands of fishermen and adventurers to remote fly-in fishing camps over the north. To protect our natural resources we began implementing conservation measures from the beginning of our operations. Over and above fishing regulations, which protect our fisheries, we ask our guests to practice proper fish handling procedures and release the larger fish caught. Catch and Release, Catch and Consume pays off and is the largest single contributor to our productive lakes.

Bring along your fly rods too, watch the bass dance across the water! Catch that illusive Speckled trout too. Each lake offers at least two species and most three. Variety is the spice of life!!
